referee battle royale is better on a reread. Not that I minded it the first time but part of me was going, "this is cool and all but can we get to fucking StL already". I was worried the gamble would be rushed or not have enough chapters to live up to the hype. The battle royale was kind of just fan service but the Kyara corpse ending was 10/10 and a perfect goodbye. Great payoff for never being buried to that point
