My major disappointment from HKs is the total lack of offense, I know regeneration is their big wall to overcome but their attacks almost never come off like real attacks from a peer, Killingham wouldve been fine if he got like 2 more big attacks in that final form, Sommers was a bummer but mostly because of the lack of using his devil fruit in interesting ways, he had that one cool piranha plant form and that was basically over instantly>>291945222And yet real OP fans know it was some of the best fighting from a straw hat not named Luffy in years.

As a whole, Carrot's objectively a boring and generic bunny girl. That's exactly why she was never going to join the Strawhat's crew and never fit in outside as a low-level guest character (as opposed to high-level guests like Kinemon, Lilith, Bonney, Kuma, Momonosuke, Caesar and Law: all of which are fully realized characters with genuine growth and flaws before stepping on the Sunny). It's because One Piece is unique with its characters and the Straw Hats are all oddballs with actual quirks and real character flaws, Carrot being so Plain Jane safe meant she never fit and never will. Carrot's biggest quirks was her name and drawing fruity art. Comparing her to the next mink she's paired with narratively, Pedro, he was a much better written and had a past, presence and weight in the story during WCI that you cared about (Luffy even acknowledges him during Wano while fighting Kaido). Brook and Pedro had some of the best interactions on WCI, outside of Sanji, Pudding, Katakuri and Luffy. Carrot comparatively has nothing memorable other than going sulong and Sanji pitying her post WCI and that's okay. The humiliation ritual Oda puts Carrot and Wano through vs Peroperos showed the reader what Oda thinks of her. Now if you're one of those braindead and embittered joinfag holdovers you'll cope about her fate forever and do the sourgrapes suffle at characters Oda loves who either joined (Vivi and Jinbe), was invited (Kinemon, Momonosuke and Yamato) or Luffy tried to recruit (Law or Loki), but the fact remains Carrot was never part of the crew nor asked to join. We've moved past this discussion years ago when Wano ended.
