Just finished watching Aikatsu Friends season 2!Pretty good, despite how short it was.The Sorbet Kingdom trip arc almost felt like a movie: a pretty nice and self-contained story that served as a break from the normal idol activities. I wonder where the kingdom is located?Character-wise, it's not as strong as the first season: Aine and Mio's relationship is pretty much fully developed and we get to see them take on new challenges and be producers for a big event, but I wish they got some intimate moments like in S1. Hibiki and Alicia got some of that instead, but I don't care about them as much. Maybe because Alicia's problems are too disconnected from the rest of the show, and Hibiki feels like she is already a fully developed senpai idol and she doesn't really have an endearing quirk. It's still pretty goofy and fun to see them save a kingdom and fulfill an ancient prophecy through idol activities, but Aikatsu in general seems to have weaker season 2s for some reason.
