I went ahead and read through the end.Was this manga axed? The final stretch is so much worse than the rest of the manga, the main characters have insane plot armor and everyone else dies unceremoniously, Shugen was clearly brought in to be a foil to Sagiri and she doesn't even get to interact with him, shit about Gabi's wife being fake amounted to absolutely nothing, Gabi slaughters 50 ninja kids but refuses to strike the grand master statue because he sees marriage robes etc.
