They just disappeared: so many series with unique comedy, forgotten by time.
girls aren't funny
>>291908625Painfully true
>>291908625>>291908749But that is wrong. Shoujo moe comedy was sensational
>>291908625We are though
>>291908543What happened to that moe era when there were so many comedic shoujo/josei series? It was like a super-moe girl going on wacky adventures. Some examples of those type of series:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU0oksVhYs8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ugn9viMu928https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXz96phV0sYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfDoo2zE81c
>>291908543You know what I truly miss? Those old Mahou Shoujo series that weren't precurehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMupsVQ-xWE
I haven't checked out any newer shoujo manga so I don't really know what's currently running. But I imagine most of it's not translated anyway and I doubt very many people on /a/ would be reading untranslated shoujo manga to even know what currently exists.Even many of the series in this thread used as examples were never fully translated.>Goldfish Warning>Akazukin Chacha>Nurse Angel Ririka>>291908978There's a non-Precure mahou shoujo anime airing this season.
>>291908978Precure is at the top of a decadent genre. Japanese little girls don't want to be magical girls anymore. They want to be Disney princesses or k-pop idols
>>291909045They don't make classic Shoujo like Akazukin Chacha, weird that the translation die at the half way point of the Mangahttps://mangadex.org/title/9103a1c9-e6f8-42f6-9055-ae06c5834028/little-red-riding-hood-cha-cha
>>291908543This thread again?
>>291908543Cute
>>291908543You can read some right now in current mags if you know Japanese. It's not like acro trip was a drama
>>291912472>acro trip was a dramaWho?
>>291910825>This thread again? What? I don't remember any thread with this specific topic
>>291908543Burp
>>291908543Page 11 exist!?
>>291908543I wonder if I can make /a/ watch golden fish
>>291918295When there is a pinned thread.
>>291909169So the solution is to make a magical girl show where the girls become Disney princesses and sing k-pop
>>291919052>When there is a pinned thread.Good to know
>>291919435>So the solution is to make a magical girl show where the girls become Disney princesses and sing k-popThat sounds familiar, I wonder whyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yebNIHKAC4A
I watched this anime, it's pretty funny and was a shoujo manga
>>291923270>I watched this anime, it's pretty funny and was a shoujo mangaWe are losing the ancient text of Shoujo ComedyThat one is called: Shouwa Aho Zoushi Akanuke Ichibanhttps://www.mangaupdates.com/series/taogfoz/shouwa-aho-zoushi-akanuke-ichiban
>>291919435Sofia the First was pretty popular in Japan and the Disney Princesses were basically Pokemons
>>291908625trvke
>>291908625Wrong. Rumiko Takahashi is a visual comedy genius, and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun had moments that were some of the hardest a manga has made me laugh. That one is technically a comedy shoujo but probably not the kind of thing OP is looking for.
>Japanese humor
>>291908543Plenty of straight up comedy in Comic Gene. Sho-Comi and Princess also have a fair bit in it as shorts. They're all not that interesting because “Japanese humor”.That having been said, I've recently been acquainted with the issue that pretty much the entire modern foreign “shoujo” discussion is garbage because a bunch of “follower slash personalized recommendation feed websites” got populated with a bunch of “shoujo bloggers” who all hammer down the term “shoujo” with everything they say but each and every one of them discuss nothing but the most terrible permavirgin targeting wish fulfillment slop because that's a good way to get a big “following” on those websites, both by being super monotonous, and by targeting the kind of permavirgin that visits it a lot, and the end result is now that when you search for the term “shoujo” online which permavirgins tend to do, all you get is that kind of garbage leading to a somewhat skewed impression.
>>291928470Your post is nonsensical.
>>291928912Angry permavirgin hands with an attachment to the term “shoujo” who constantly google that term to get permavirgin wish fullfilment typed this post by the way.
