Chapter 16: Three Magic ChalicesPrevious thread: >>291859811The battle between Azla and Beatrice has concluded, but who's that mysterious creature?
And that's it for today. There's one more chapter released, and then we can move on to more daily Mizukamis if there's a lot more interest, I'll at least try a few chapters of Solte.
>>291882108Thanks OP. This demon grandpa's a pretty cool guy.
>>291882272I'm looking forward to more of him when emaqi gets around to prompting the next two volumes.
>>291881848What a trustworthy face that demon has
>>291881848>Oh did I add another bruise or two? teehee whoopsie
>>291881994What a good grandfather, I can respect him.
>>291882108Feels like the lore dump in this chapter is what really kicks off the "real" plot so kinda unfortunate the translations end right after.
>>291882108As always thanks for the dump!Shame that tomorrow's the last chapter. This chapter dropped a lot of interesting bread crumbs that makes me want to see more.
>>291884610Thanks for bumping, I basically just wanted people to know more was out.
>>291881817Poor earth dragon jobber
>>291882083Well that's all the exposition for today kthxbye
>>291882083He seems nice enough that they probably could just ask him next time they see him
>>291887155>trying to have a drinking party with demon grandpa>accidentally drink demon grandpa
>>291887357Looks like he's humanoid from>>291881994 on the left page
>>291887621Even more awkward...
>>291881817They just dropped her on a table? At least give her a sheet.
>>291888360With the beatings they gave her it's almost surprising they didn't just toss her on the floor
>>291882083
>>291881901
>>291882108Thank you for posting, OP.
>>291881837phallic
>>291881926It's not like the marebitogami could do anything either. Except maybe Ichika's a different sort of thing and they used to get marebitogami that could grant wishes?
>>291893588It's not like she can't grant wishes, she just has to do it the old-fashioned way. For example, she for very easily grant Azla's wish of wiping out all undead and necromancers. Other marebitogami probably take their duty more seriously... but also people probably didn't wish for them to commit suicide either.
>>291894436I guess she could probably pour her million marbles into a radar spell if she knew how? But Azla specifically doesn't want her to know how because she's an icky necromancer
>>291884224>>291884610I wish we'd get a good fan translation of it going but these days that seems exceptionally rare, which is sad feeling in some very specific ways. Would also be nice to get ones for Solte since it comes out so slowly anyways.
What if we made it?
>>291897490It's a pity. I remember Duralamin used to translate a lot of Mizukami's works back in the day but I think he stopped once they started getting official translations
>>291899725Yeah, he did up to chapter 11 of Solte and then stopped for the official release, and never did anything for Climax Necromance. Otherwise looks like he did some work on that Dreamcast Nakoruru VN, that Zaiyuki short, and an animated version of that old The Anime Club comic. But nothing for the last year or so, guess he's probably retired from the fan translation stuff in general at this point then.
>>291900128It was great to have those guys in the glory days. Probably subtly off MTL for the rest of our lives, so it goes.
>>291901023I'd hope people would use the mechanical assistance to get better until they didn't need its help for translation, but it always seems to go the other way. Maybe it'll get to where it's good enough for learning that we can just cut out the middle men, but I doubt we'd be that lucky.
>>291901844It's just too easy to let it do things. I don't think they'll stay subtly off for long though.
Chapter 17: Self-Defense Carriage to the Royal Capital
>>291903965I knew this was gonna happen and it was still funny.
This is the limit of available scans. Thanks for reading!
>>291904036Thanks for dumping, OP. It was nice to catch up, even if there wasn't all that much new material. Solte next?
>>291904226Sure why not
Better than I thought it was from the handful of chapters I read a while back at least.Still not completely sold on the whole isekai thing even from mizukami but at least it isn't either mindnumbingly generic or overly focused on a stupid "unique" gimmick so it could be way worse. How far are the raws ahead and what's the pace of the scans so far?
>>291905102Raws just finished chapter 29 and the state of the scans is abysmal
>>291904036Thanks a lot for dumping.
>>291904036Thanks for dumping! I'm enjoying this series a lot, so hopefully scans/translations catch up soon!
>>291904036Last thread you mentioned dailying some of his other works. I'd be into it, since the only one I've read is Spirit Circle. Though, with how much I expect to enjoy them, I may want to enjoy them at a faster clip and read ahead.
>>291908251and by last thread I mean earlier this thread apparently
>>291903818So that's how she can fit into her younger sister's clothes.
>>291904022That thunder drake is such a Mizukami design
>>291903785This girl has grown like 3 inches at most in 15 years.
>>291903938I remain confident that there will be a hot receptionist eventually.
