In the beginning of the manga, the whole reason Roku isn't dead is because of the 5 curse deadlock, preventing each curse from taking his life. Maybe Roku will find out how to exorcise Sachiko from this arc BUT the gang learns that just removing one of the curses cancels the deadlock so Sachiko is forced to stay with the gang until Roku has a way to exorcise all 5 simultaneously. Tldr; just like how Roku unsealed all 5 at once, he also has to purify all 5 at once. Doesn't kill the status quo but shows Roku is making progress.
