Kinda off tipic, but what do you guys thinks is worth more as a side hustle, AI nsfw genning or 3D nsfw? I'm trying to decide which one to focus the most on or maybe actually see which one I would like most and what both entail. I had planned that if I was doing AI gens I would do doujins, or short comics or something. With 3D I would actually be limited in characters to pose since I depend on other people's models right? Like, I would just have to pick whatever is available to animate. I do like both, but I struggle seeing which one I would like the most to focus on so any opinions are welcomed
>>1033852Ask the AI board
Don't listen to >1033855 for being a dumb luddite. The AI market is hot right now. I do think AI comics are better because you can create your own story or plot to get people interested. And for 3D, you can start generating your own characters as well. There's also AI to rig and pose them too.
>The AI market is hot right now
>1033859It's doing better than the artist market, which is full of layoffs, dead commissions and studio closures. :)
>>1033860Bruh you are a shill no-lifing this board, I notice you are in every thread instareplying on a dead board.
Get a job.
>>1033862I have, I'm an engineer and you are paid peanuts to shill. But a jeet like you needs to eat I guess.
>>1033863>I'm an engineer
Ah dammit, I had a better reaction saved. Oh well.
>>1033865>>1033864>>1033863>>1033862OP here I meant manual 3D btw not "AI" animation or whatever. Is animating 3D fun?
>>1033866>Is animating 3D fun?No. It's one of the most labour intensive activities on Earth.
Just make something ffs
>>1033852If you can do it with no effort then so can everyone else. Why pay for YOUR comic when there are 7 billion others and i can make my own anyway? If AI succeeds it will destroy its own market. If it crashes then it will never have a market. There's no financial payoff to investing in that tech as a consumer
>>1033852>side hustleshut the fuck up
>>1033881>Why pay for YOUR comic when there are 7 billion others and i can make my own anyway? Why pay for restaurant pizza when you can make it at home? Why pay for a jar of pickles when you can just buy some cucumbers and soak them in brine at home? Why pay for a bottle of water when tap water is free? This is what some of you lunatics don't get. The reason people pay for anything is because of CONVENIENCE.It was never about the process. No one cares or gives a fuck how art is made. They only care about what the final results looks like. Therefore, if you can make good AI images that reflects an idea, then people will buy it.The more you try and fight and deny this, the more closer to homelessness and being out of a job forever you get.
>>1033884It's not because of convenience you nigger, it's because an hour is worth forty dollars on average. Baking a pizza for twenty minutes costs 13.3 dollars plus ingredients plus tax plus the energy you spend on it plus electricity plus the time investment it takes to make a pizza that isn't total shit plus the pizza oven required to make pizza that isn't total shit even if you're good.A Pizza Hut Original Pan Pepperoni costs 12.99 dollars. Now the question is why the FUCK would you think that anyone would be paying for pictures if they cost nothing?
>>1033885Any professional pizza shop can assemble the food in less than 5 minutes. Only the actual oven baking takes more time.Anyone can make a Pizza because they literally hire minimum wage teenagers as cooks. Are you saying you're dumber than a teen?It was always about convenience. You can find Restaurants everywhere willing to make the food for cheap.>Now the question is why the FUCK would you think that anyone would be paying for pictures if they cost nothing?BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT PAYING FOR THE PROCESS.YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE SKILL & EXPERIENCE THAT GOES WITH IT.Here's another example. A wrench needed to fix a Car or a Toilet is dirt cheap. Yet why does a Car mechanic or a Plumber still charges hundreds of dollars for that service?BECAUSE HE HAS THE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CARS TO UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT HE'S DOING.Does this answer finally go through your brain?
>>1033887NO YOU FUCKING RETARD IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE SPENDING MORE RESOURCES DOING IT YOURSELF YOU SPASTIC FAGGOT BITCHTHE PIZZA PLACE MAKES TWENTY PIZZAS IN PARALLEL BECAUSE IT CAN FIND MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE TO EAT THEM IT DOESN'T COST THEM ONE HOMEMADE PIZZA TO MAKE ONE RESTAURANT PIZZABUY A GOD DAMN CALCULATOR
>>1033888>He never heard of pre-made Pizza kits. You can make two Pizzas for the price of one. All that's needed is the cheese and toppings which can you buy on sale.
>>1033889commie retard kill yourself for the cause
>>1033890You're getting replaced.
Anon BTFO.You can't beat science.
>>1033884>Why pay for restaurant pizza when you can make it at home?i made a homecooked meal tonight. i also prepped for the next three days>Why pay for a jar of pickles when you can just buy some cucumbers and soak them in brine at home?i do this>Why pay for a bottle of water when tap water is free?i dont do this>This is what some of you lunatics don't get. The reason people pay for anything is because of CONVENIENCE.no, i pay for VALUE. a pizza has value. i work overtime for $30 an hour then buy a pizza for $15 that would have taken an hour to make myself. i buy water only when my immediate need for water outweighs the future value of $5, which is never>It was never about the process. No one cares or gives a fuck how art is made. They only care about what the final results looks like.i care how art is made, and who makes it. the ehtics of bottled water are 90% of the reason why i dont buy bottled water. its why i pay $15 for the pizza instead of $12. >Therefore, if you can make good AI images that reflects an idea, then people will buy it.only if the value of the image outweighs the value of the money, which it wont because anyone can make them for free. >The more you try and fight and deny this, the more closer to homelessness and being out of a job forever you get.thats what happens if you spend money on stupid bullshit you dont need. you know, doordashing a premade pizza instead of home cooking. if you cant offer VALUE (and you cant) then i wont trade. most people think like this.
>>1033892Suppose you start with $20 on your bank account. If you make the pizza yourself, it will take twenty minutes of work during which you're not doing anything else, and $7.38 for the pizza. Your balance at the end is -20min+$12,62.If you get a job and work for twenty minutes you earn $13,33, and if you then buy a restaurant pizza at $12,99 your balance at the end will be -20min+$20,34.The difference between these is -$7,72. You lose 7,72 dollars when you make pizza at home when you could be using that time and energy to work at a job. Buying the pizza allows you to keep your profits without another time investment.
>>1033871>It's one of the most labour intensive activities on Earth.yes>>1033866>Is animating 3D fun?but also yes
>>1033911>i care how art is made, and who makes it. You are in the small and even shrinking minority.Fun Fact: Before AI existed, guess how a lot of entertainment products like movies and games were made? Crunch. Studios had no issue with working employees to the bone, even if caused them severe health issues or even divorces.Hell, one of the biggest offenders of poor working conditions is the anime industry. Story after story have come out describing the nightmare work environments, but do anime fans lift a finger and say "I wont buy your product"?Nope. Now there's a certain irony when people want to fight AI without realizing it actually does solve or eliminate all these problems I just discussed. No one has to work themselves to death making 3D models or drawing a line when machines can do it better and faster. This is far a healthier balance for humans and in the right hands, the tool gives an artist the ability to work faster without having to die for it either.
>>1033912First, not everyone makes $40 an hour. Of course if you're rich, it's easier to just buy whatever you want and ignore the difference.People can also have fixed worked schedules. Say you can only work from 9am to 5pm, then you're not losing any money when you decide to cook at home at 8pm.
>>1033922>that is not how companies think though>you'll just have more to do with less people giving input or even reviewing it if they have the AI do that as well
>>1033942AI is a new disruptive technology that does influence or force companies to at least modify their behaviour. Especially because new companies can be founded who can capture talent or offer better pay for the same type of work.In fact, indie studios have the most to benefit thanks to AI.Instead of needing tens of millions of dollars to make a movie or game, anyone on even 10% of that budget can compete against the big guys. It's an absolute paradigm shift in the right hands or those who actually adapted to it early, instead of fighting it.Otherwise, you're stuck with the status quo.
