Feeling Nostalgic today. What was your first memory of Pokemon? For me it was when I was 6 years old (September 2007?) and I had been bugging my older brother (pokemania kid) for weeks to play Pokemon Diamond. Uncharacteristically he decides to be nice and actually give it to me, and I think that was the same day I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon as well. My older brother was usually a jerk but he had moments like that make me wish we were closer. God I miss him so much.

Anybody else have these contradicting feelings towards it? I love the progression through the region and beyond it into Kanto. The music and atmosphere build such an amazing vibe, especially with the day/night cycle. Mechanically it was also a straight upgrade from gen 1. BUT, the annoying fucking leveling curve and gyms, terrible biodevirsity and exp distribution, all the grinding... How do you guys feel about it? Remakes included.

Everybody knows the infamous and stereotypical Sinnoh Pokemon team that lots of people seem to end up building when playing the Gen 4 games (and their remakes, if you count them) This kind of team is usually something like the following: >starter (usually Infernape) >Staraptor >Luxray >Garchomp >Lucario >other slot that's typically (but not always) an early route mon like Roserade or Floatzel But what are less commonly used Pokemon that are underrated choices when battling and traveling through Sinnoh that can make a playthrough of the games more interesting? Or different teams in general, if you can think of any? They don't have to be Pokemon introduced in Gen 4 necessarily. All Pokemon available in the Pokedex that can actually be caught in those games are allowed, including the new additions in the expanded Platinum Pokedex. And these Pokemon don't have to be 100% good at everything... but just enough to make the Gen 4 games and their remakes a little more fun, so we can get new ideas whenever one of us gets the urge to play the games again.

Legends Arceus: This version not only put the Pokémon to sleep, but it also lower both it's defense and special defense. However, it lower you speed as well. 90 accuracy. Legends Z-A: This one is not status move anymore but a special attack now. It does 60 damage, put the Pokemon to sleep and heal 50% from the damage dealt. It also does double damage to sleeping Pokemon. 100 accuracy. Which one are you choosing?

Can you bros clear the air for me on this one? I’ve been hung up on this for quite litchrally (footnote: read in a british accent) a couple of years now. I have seen shiny manip rng stuff and they’re making it set to a specific date, time, frame, etc. If i’m hunting right now on october 31,2026 what if there is no shiny seed guarenteed pid snivy starter for bw2 for this month after lets say 5:30pm which is the time right now? What if the next shiny seed encounter on my secret tid and pid and pussy and ass and balls and all that is literally a random day in march of 2027 on a specific time? Then why am i even attempting to get it right now? I don’t quite understand even how to ASK this question but does anyone know what i mean? If they can rng manip it so specifically for today at a certain time does that mean if i want to naturally shiny hunt a starter for example then it is a folly because i might miss/have missed my window (for today, meaning its sometime later)?… or something.
Anyone tried this? I normally avoid this stuff but it looks quite good.
